Dear WG members,
we are very much looking forward to welcome you here in Austria soon. On behalf of Dr. Fred Steinhauser, I would like to provide you some organizational information below, which you might find useful.
Wednesday, 31.08.
It's a pleasure for us to invite you to a welcome reception with drinks and snacks after your arrival at the Hotel Mercure in Bregenz (at about 8 p.m.).
Thursday, 01.09.
The individual meetings WG 10, 17 and 18 will start at 08:00 in the OMICRON Development Center (ODC) in Klaus. A shuttle-service is organized, which will pick you up at 7:15 a.m. at the Hotel Mercure. After the meeting, at about 5 p.m. a shuttle will bring you back to the Hotel Mercure. At 6:15 p.m. the shuttle-bus will pick you up again at the Hotel Mercure and will bring you to the special evening event "10 Years IEC 61850 Standardization", which will take place in the atrium of the ODC. After the event, a shuttle back to the Hotel Mercure is organized.

Friday, 02.09.
As the round-up meeting will start at 09:00 in the ODC, a shuttle-service will pick you up at 8:15 a.m. at the Hotel Mercure. After the meeting at about 1 p.m. we would like to invite you to a small refreshment for your homeward journey - a light lunch in the ODC.
Two shuttle services are provided by OMICRON. One to the train station in St. Gallen (Switzerland) and one to the airport in Friedrichshafen (Germany), both departing at 2 p.m. from the ODC.

Boat trip to the Mainau Island - The flower island in the lake of constance It is especially beautiful to visit the Mainau by boat. During the season there are many ships which regularly stop at the Mainau. It is an impressive experience to explore the parks and gardens, nature and botany of the island. Exhibition "Roy Lichtenstein" at the museum of art
Roy Lichtenstein (*1923 in New York, †1997 in New York) is one of the most influential personalities in twentieth century post-war American art.
